It’s hard to know whether how a celebrity truly behaves- interviews or not, they could always be acting. Keanu Reeves, however, seems to be a pretty upstanding guy, and has been basically his whole life. He goes around trying to be some regular wholesome guy, when we all know that’s an understatement.
He’s proven to be a great actor with a lasting career, but if he’s not being completely humble to his fans, or donating his earnings (like he did from The Matrix), he’s probably playing with puppies.
And if he even tries to act normal guy, we won’t allow it. We love him that much.
Keanu was featured in Ali Wong’s movie, Always Be My Maybe, as an overemphasized, somewhat bizarre, (yet lovable) version of himself, but when he tried to just blend in at Wong’s comedy show in Los Angeles, we wouldn’t let him!
While we think he can do no wrong, this might be the one thing. Trying to sit in normal seats? Psh. No. Keanu deserves better, and people in the audience agreed.
Helen Kim (@hlmKim) took to Twitter saying she saw Reeves attempt to sit in the audience, “until an usher and lady came to reseat him probably to a better seat bc he’s Keanu Reeves. He prob could have just gotten a free VIP seat but he just went on ticketmaster himself like a normal”.
And when fans and other users found out about it, they chimed in and said how much they admired the actor too.
Keanu Reeves is unlike ANY other actor in the industry! My favorite actor easily! Stories abound of things like this. It doesn’t matter how his movies r viewed he is loved by millions because of this! He didn’t set the bar on how to treat the public…HE IS THE BAR!!!!

The tweet received 4.5K retweets, and 58.1K likes and a ton of comments, and we aren’t surprised.
And, truthfully, we don’t really care if he got a better seat, because like Kim said, he probably just bought his ticket like a regular person, and that means a lot.
